My whole family has been dealing with an intestinal virus this week. Forgive my lack of correspondence, but I have either been sick, playing catch-up at work, or taking care of sick ones all week long. Don’t get me wrong… I am not complaining. When I have been tempted to complain, I have been reminded that I am truly blessed. All I have to do is turn on the TV and take a look at the disaster less than half a day’s travel from here. The intestinal flu will be gone in a day or two, but the devastation in New Orleans will still be incomprehensible.
Right now, I am taking a sick day so that I can watch the kids while my bride tries to recuperate. I posted one link of interest earlier, and I intend to share a list that I am currently working on while surfing my day away. The girls are watching Strawberry Shortcake, so I might as well be doing something I enjoy… right?
