I’ll let you decide which of the following qualifies me as one of the biggest dorks you know.
1) This news really excited me. (What can I say? I like Battlestar Galactica, and I make no apologies.)
2) I own practically all of Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and Star Trek: Enterprise on DVD.
3) The DVDs missing from the above collection are in my Netflix queue, so I will have them soon.
4) I have watched all of the DVDs mentioned in #2 and #3, including the ones currently missing from my collection.
5) I am currently re-watching Star Trek: Voyager. (Quit laughing. I am almost halfway through season 4.)
6) I still really want to know what the Cylons are going to do with Starbuck’s ovaries.
Please note that although I am a fan of sci-fi, I have never been to a convention, worn a pair of vulcan ears, or put on a Star Trek uniform. Unlike some people I know. (Go ahead… ask her. See if she will be honest.)
Note to my students that might happen across this post: I really don’t need a list of all the reasons that you think I am a dork. I promise.
I am still laughing at the image of you with vulcan ears on your head.
and I won’t give you a list of why your’re a doek I’ll just say you are one and be done.
I LOVE YOU MR. A!
dork****
You have some issues with this blog update.
1) The DVD missing from the above collection are in my Netflix queue, so I will have them soon.
Should be: The DVDs
2) #4
Should be: #2 and #3, not #3 and #4.
Now… YOU decide who is the biggest dork.
this is a good time to remind you that you ridiculed me for using AOL. really now. are you so sure you want to do that- i mean under the circumstances…?
Gunter – at least I can spell dork.
Cindy – AOL-usage requires a totally different type of nerdiness. We may both be dorks, just different breeds.
okay- i can live with that.
